Well, the good news is I went to a grocery store here in East Nashville the other day,

and there was a fellow who walked up to me and he was nice enough to say that he liked my music and he enjoys this show.

I'm sitting here in my living room in East Nashville, Tennessee, and I have two cats sitting right next to me.

This is a personal journal.

This is a bit of an experiment.

And I like to say right up front that I haven't the slightest idea what I'm doing,

but I decided to do it anyway.

And this show is founded with the idea that there are only two people in art that matter.

There's a creative individual and the person experiencing it.

And everything else is an artificial filter.

And this is a way for me to share things with you guys without any filters whatsoever.

Darden stopped by the house, and we sat in my living room and recorded this conversation.

Then afterwards, we talked for about an hour and a half and he's got a lot of great stories

and he looks at things differently and I really appreciate being around people who think

differently.
