Well, hey friends, welcome back to the Melanie Metro show. I'm so glad that you're here today because

I want to talk to you about something that is, oh gosh, I think it's like the number one thing

that is holding leaders and emerging leaders back from hitting their biggest goal. And it actually

has nothing to do with strategy or your team or even timing. It actually has

everything to do with what you say to yourself when you see somebody else maybe crossing a stage

at a big event. When you see somebody hitting a goal that you've had on your vision board,

when you see success that you want to achieve but

you haven't reached it yet how many of you and be really honest say i could never do that

or are you the kind of person that says if they can do it so can i that. That inner dialogue, it's everything.

And today we're going to talk about how we shift it.

So if you're ready, let's like buckle up for a really incredible episode.

Because I want to start out by taking you way, way back to a moment that actually shaped the way that I

think and I believe about goals. Early on in my direct sales career, I was at an event and it was

my very first convention. I was watching all of these incredible leaders walk across stage.

They were being recognized for their accolades.

They were receiving awards and these exciting bonus checks. And it was that moment where you're like,

wow, they've built something incredible. And I remember sitting there in the audience thinking to myself, okay, they're all

just normal, average, everyday people who decided that they were going to go for it. And I remember

thinking, if they can do it, so can I. And I remember thinking that, you know, it wasn't this like, oh, I hope that someday,

maybe one day, if I work really, really hard, I can make it happen. It was like, I decided in

that moment, and I never once thought I'm not worthy of that. I never let myself go to.

That's not for somebody like me. My brain just said,
