Hey everybody, welcome to all have another podcast with Lindsay Heim.

We've got another Boston marathon episode series today.

This is Episode 382 and my guest is Charlotte Perdue.

Charlotte runs for the UK and she just placed ninth at the Boston Marathon.

We're running a time of 225-26 at the race.

Charlotte was on this podcast in July of 2019 at Episode 190,

if you want to go back and hear a little bit more about her backstory.

But in 2021, at the London Marathon,

she ran a personal best time of 223-26,

which put her at the third fastest all-time British marathoner.

She was looking strong and teed up to be selected for the Olympic team in Tokyo

and was not selected last year.

And so a big disappointment for her and her career

and she tells us all about that experience

and what it means for her now to make an Olympic team,

to not make an Olympic team and what her career really means to her beyond making an Olympic team.

This is not the first time she's had a disappointment around the Olympics.

So that's something we had talked about actually in my first episode with her back in July of 2019.
