Summary

World-renowned Columbia professor and economist Jeffrey Sachs returns to Bad Faith to discuss Ukraine, the threat of nuclear escalation, his recent Tucker Carlson appearance, what an increasingly multipolar world means for US influence in Middle East politics, and an optimistic case for a two state solution.

This is a comprehensive, raw account of what happened -- recorded within 24 hours of Briahna receiving the news that she'd been canceled.

This was not about an eye roll.

for 500 years since the Ottoman control Constantinople, the Ottoman conquest, 1453, the Turks are very good

in it. They became mediators. And the two sides reached an agreement, in essence, still some fine

points. But the U.S. and UK told them, no, keep fighting. You'll win. We're going to crush Russia with our economic sanctions.

2:05.4

We're going to crush Russia with our superweapons, with our Haimars and our Patriot missiles.

2:11.2

You're going to defeat Russia. You're going to get everything. Boris Johnson famously went to

2:16.5

talk to Zelensky in early April 2022,

2:20.3

telling him, no, no, we'll never back you if you go for neutrality. This is Project Ukraine,

2:27.3

and it's been two and a half years, about 500,000 deaths of Ukrainian since then for nothing.
