I have something special for you this episode. A few weeks ago I was in Kansas City, Missouri, where I was able to visit a special exhibit at the Nelson Atkins Museum of Art, called Napoleon, Power and Splendor.

It's a fantastic museum and the exhibit is a lot of fun if you're a Napoleon fan

I also attended a lecture on Napoleon by Dr. Mark Gurgis who's a professor at the

U.S. Army Command and General Staff College at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas, not far outside

Kansas City. The next day I went out to Fort Leavenworth and recorded an interview with Dr. Gerges and two of his colleagues from the Command and General Staff College, Dr. Jonathan Abel and Dr. John Kuhn. These guys are the cream of the crop when it comes to the military

history of the Napoleonic era. We are very fortunate they agreed to sit down and share some of their expertise with us.
