Gary Arndt is an old friend of Fizzle and three-time travel photographer of the year in North America,

and he runs everything everywhere, which he has done for quite a while since 2007.

Gary, thanks so much for being here today.

Thanks for having me.

You reached out recently because of some changes I've been making,

and let me know that you've had to make quite a few changes over this year.

And I know I've heard similar stories from other friends who have built their

business around travel. Tell us, first of all, I guess, about everything everywhere and what

you've done since 2007. 2007, I came up with the idea of selling my home to travel around the

world for a year. and that one year basically

never ended. I just kind of kept traveling and I had a website that I started. So my background

was in doing internet stuff. I had an early internet company that I started in the 90s. So starting

a website was kind of a natural thing for me to do to share my travels with my friends and family.

And as I started traveling, it started to build a following my early travels a lot of people when they go

around the world they'll go to like the big cities of the world London Paris Hong Kong

Singapore stuff like that and I was going to minor islands in the Pacific like Tonga

Samoa the Cook Islands Vanuuatu, stuff like that.

And so I kind of developed a following because I was doing something weird.

And there just weren't many of these travel websites at the time of people that were actively traveling.
