Matt, thanks for joining me. You know, the last time you were on Newt's World was on February 3rd, 2021, and we talked about your last book, Dumb and Dumber, How Cuomo and De Blasio rule in New York.

What made you decide on Soros as your next subject?

Well, let's turn my back on. Soros has always been a sort of, you know, I'll use the term boogie man figure, but not in a conspiratorial sense. I think it's actually fine to describe him that way. But I've only really known him more as influencing our national politics.

It's been a long time since the last, let's say, decade, but it's really been more noticeable the past two or three years, his infiltration of local politics has been really changing the way the country functions, particularly when it comes to law and order. And on the left, we've seen this push for, I mean, they call it police reform or reimagining police, but it's really imagining no police and having no bail and having really the least strict penalties possible for certain crimes.
