My friend Bradley Talbot, Winnipeg Canada RM and former EFY teacher, shares his story as a gay Latter-Day Saint. Bradley talks about his desire to stay in the Church, close with God, marry a man, and together raise a family having family night, attending Church and reading the Book of Mormon. Bradley is graduating in Psychology and hopes for a career in criminal psychology. Bradley is the founder of Color the Campus at BYU (see @colorthecampus on IG) to help bring more understanding and support for LGBTQ Latter-day Saints. Thank you Bradley for sharing your story. 0:19.2	Bradley is someone I've known on social media for a while.
0:22.2	I've crossed past with him at BYU, and he's just somebody I've admired and look up to
0:28.8	and has a powerful story to share.
0:31.0	So I've learned that every story is unique and needed and different.
0:35.2	And I think you'll find as you listen to Bradley's story the same
0:39.5	the same thing about his story. Bradley is, as I mentioned, gay, he's a BYU student. He's a senior
0:47.4	graduating in psychology. He'll graduate in April of 2021. He'd like to then eventually go to grad school, be in criminal psychology.
0:58.5	He grew up in Pleasant Grove, which is a city in Utah County.
1:03.1	He served admission in Canada, Winnipeg.
1:06.5	He has been an EFY counselor in Provo, Arizona, and Florida.
1:12.6	And I always admire EFY counselors and all they do for others, as well as his mission service.
1:20.6	Bradley's really involved in the queer is the term we use often, or the LGBT community at BYU.
1:28.3	He started to color the campus effort.
1:31.3	We'll talk more about that and just has been doing a lot to help bring understanding
1:37.3	to LGBTQ Latter-day Saints.
1:40.3	Bradley would love to stay in the church and participate as much as he can.
1:44.6	He would like to also marry a man.
1:47.2	And he will share why he wants to do both of those things in this podcast.
