If you've been following NBA news, you obviously know Steve Nash recently took the head

coaching position with the Brooklyn Nets.

But after that headline of him taking the job, kind of came and went.

Surely thereafter, his two stars, Kyrie and Katie, made news when they jumped in and had some headlines that

people began running with.

Headlines that read, I feel like I don't even have a head coach or we don't have a head coach.

Or Kyrie saying, you know, I could be the head coach.

Or Kevin saying, he could be the head coach.

Now, this isn't a podcast where we run and stretch and exaggerate headlines to mean something that they're not. There was more context to

it. In fact, what they were getting to is that there's going to be an environment they envision

of a more collaborative effort.

And that in many ways, it isn't just the responsibility of the head coach,

but Kyrie is going to have a say and KD will have an influence.

And they even mention Jock Vaughn and his expertise, obviously,

and that it's not just one person,

but more of a collaborative style of building this team and working

towards their goal. Sounds great in theory, but it leads us to today's episode where we ask some of the

questions, can a collaborative coaching environment truly work? And yes, all coaching environments

are collaborative.

But how much is too much?
