Is team ball?

You may be thinking, what does that mean?

You know, over the last couple years in the NBA specifically, it has been such a star-driven

league.

The teams with the super teams and the superstars were making the finals year after year.

You needed a LeBron James or you needed a Steph Curry or Kevin Durant.

You needed this huge name to get anywhere.

In fact, over the last five, ten years, there's been this overwhelming obsession with getting

that superstar player and that being the only way to truly succeed.

We're noticing something in the NBA bubble that that is not necessarily the case with the rise of the Miami Heat who have a superstar but not at the superstar status of many others in Jimmy Butler, or maybe

the Denver Nuggets where, yes, they have stars, but maybe not this high profile superstars

as others when you look at a Jamal Murray or a Jokic, you're seeing team ball, these teams

come together and outperforming and knocking out more superstar led teams,

i.e. the LA Clippers of most recent. Does that mean that there's a shift happening in basketball?

That there's going to be a new trend and that we can take from this, this new focus on getting back to team

basketball.
