I'm your host, Zach Bitter.

Today I have a guest interview for you.

0:17.9

Today's guest is Andrew Glaze.

0:24.4

Man, Andy is something else so for those of you know we'll already recognize that Andy is something else I heard

0:30.2

about what he was up to actually not that long ago he has run now what is

0:37.3

a hundred and 180 straight weeks where each one of those weeks he ran a minimum of

0:44.2

a hundred miles so at no point during that time was there a week where he was not at a hundred

0:49.4

plus miles per week so when i first heard this story i thought thought to myself, well, you know, I've done quite a few

0:57.4

hundred mile yearly averages to the point where I probably have a multiple years in a row where I

1:04.4

averaged 100 miles per week. But with that, you can take a full week off.

1:11.5

You just have to average that many monomiles per day in order to get to that.

1:17.9

And then it just works itself out.

1:19.7

But to get up and do it every week with no week under there is a fair bit more

1:25.9

impressive in terms of just like the level of commitment to that

1:29.3

particular task it's a totally different goal to be honest than anything i've ever considered

1:34.9

but when i looked at it i got even more impressed the more i looked into it because it's not

1:40.9

just him waking up every day thinking okay i'm going to get to exactly a hundred point zero zero miles every week and just do everything he can to kind of like

1:50.9

manicure this exact hundred mile week so that he can kind of rinse and repeat it's sort of a

1:56.2

secondary goal for him it just it's definitely something he's thinking about and he's actively doing,

2:01.7

but he's not doing it at the expense of other areas that he enjoys within the sport. So he's doing
