0:55.8	So thrilled that you are here with us for another incredible conversation. Today, we're joined by
1:01.7	Amy Better's MidVet, and she is a today parenting contributing author. She has more than a million
1:08.2	readers, by the way, 25 years of experience working with
1:11.9	adolescents and families. And she's got a lot of kids. She has five kids, all different
1:18.5	ages. Many of them are teenagers, you know, or even adults now, and some of them are little
1:23.8	ones. And she and I have this incredible conversation about what it is to parent
1:29.3	teens, especially teens who are struggling, teens who are going through pain and suffering
1:35.6	themselves. And then we talk quite a bit because I'm in some of the similar stages that she has
1:40.0	walked through what it means to parent kids who are leaving the house about to go to college
1:46.0	or being independent and how that's kind of a new layer of pain as a parent. You're excited to
1:51.3	see your child launch into their adulthood and to whatever stage, you know, God has them.
1:56.4	Maybe it's college, maybe it's career, maybe it's missions, maybe it's an experience, something else.
2:01.8	But there is a deep grief and kind of an anticipatory sadness in letting them go.
