Yeah, he starts dreaming and thinking through all of those burial rights of ancient Egypt in which he says people were sort of preparing houses not tombs.

You know, they're preparing for this afterlife.

Right, they so completely believe in the afterlife that what they're building is not, is a place to live after they die.

Yeah, in fact, didn't they bury their servants with them in their cats and their dogs?

Yes, yeah.

Which leads to my favorite sentence in the entire story.

All these people thought of was death and the dead.

It's short.

It's like the shortest sentence in the whole story.

Yeah, exactly. It just sounds like he's badmouthing some neighbors or something.

All those people think about his death and the dad.

I'm sick of it.
