And we are back and we are talking about one of the most personal, one of the most complicated subjects

anyone can really talk about and that is mothers.

Yeah, it's something that just about everyone has maybe something at least to think about on the subject,

whether you are a mother or not, everyone has a mother.

And when we think about mothers, there's a real duality.

Before we even get into these crazy intense movies we're going to talk about, We already experience a lot of duality with

motherhood. There is a motherhood that has presented to us through books and TV and

film and often it's a very caring supportive maternal figure.

It's not something that's all that complicated generally speaking,

but talk to almost anyone you know

and there is some deep complexities into the relationships

with both of their parents, often particularly the mothers because they are seen to be more

present for lack of a better term, even if that's not the case.

And in addition to the topic of motherhood, which is a fantastic topic that I think we've been

dying to talk about, we almost had to wait for the right films to come along and these films they're different they're similar but they both made quite a splash within horror they both got tongues wagging for their respective strengths and weaknesses and we're going to get into all of that today.
