don't know if we ever have I ever actually interviewed you before this is Kyle

Tucker from formerly the career journal the. I don't think I have.

That's a good question. I know I've hosted your show a couple times when you were out. I can't

remember if we actually like did an interview. Anyway, maybe. Well, I'm glad. I'm glad to finally

get to do it. And it feels like a perfect time to do it because this is probably as newsy a time that we've had with Kentucky basketball since, certainly since Cal left. And I guess I would just start here. If you were to describe to people who hadn't been part of kind of the internet drama of the last few weeks of the portal, where is Kentucky basketball right now in your mind?

What would you say?

Where is Kentucky basketball?

I mean, I think squarely in the like in the crosshairs of like what is going on

What is going on with Kentucky, but also I think there's a larger narrative and like it was something I touched on

Even before before knowing what Kentucky would do in the portal. It was the second weekend of the tournament

I was at the East Regional, as you were,

in D.C. And you know, you had these like luminaries there. You had Rick Petino, you had Tom

Izzo, and then sort of the next generation in Dan Hurley. And who else did we have there?

Brad Underwood.
