Hey everybody, it's me, Kathleen Madigan. Welcome to Madigan's pub cast. You grabbed

yourself a drink, full of the bar stool. Let's talk about what's been going on.

To her mites. The pub is open. How excited is that? What are we drinking? Well, this is

episode 36 that I already said that we're drinking naked pig pale ale. Another little

beer I picked up in Alabama when I was scooting around down there and it's quite delicious.

Cheers to that. Good for Alabama. They have a lot of little crazy beers down there. It's

called the back 40 beer company. It's in Gadsden, Alabama. If you're looking for it, but you

can get it almost anywhere in Alabama. I'm very excited. I have Fred Bird as you can see

is out in the open. We got over all of our sorrow. If you're a St. Louis Cardinal fan,

first of all, opening day in St. Louis, I truly would put up against anybody's opening

day because we are super fancy and we have the Cardinals come out of the Clydesdale's,

come out of center field with the beer wagon and the Dalmatian. It used to be the old man

bush used to drive it. Well, ride it, whatever. And then he would go around and we would

all sing the ad for Anheuser Bush at the time, which I guess they probably still use it.

Here comes the King. Here comes the big number one. And we did not feel bad about singing

an average time. We were full, full force behind it, proud of it and excited about it.

So when the Clydesdale's come out, then normally they bring the old Cardinals and we lost

two really good ones. Lou Brock and Bob Gibson. But for the ones that the Ted Simmons is

it, they put them in a red convertible and then we parade them around in a circle.

It's all very emotional, very exciting if your sports band fan. And then I think, gosh,

I cry when the Clydesdale's come out, but I don't cry at weddings sometimes. There's weddings

that go by and I don't even shed a tear. But you show me those Cardinals, the Clydesdale's,
