Hey everybody, it's me, Kathleen Madigan. Welcome to Madigan's Pubcast. You grabbed

yourself a drink, full of the bar stool. Let's talk about what's been going on.

Boom! Turmites, it's week 35 and the pub is open. What are we drinking?

Well, I'm drinking a little beer from Alabama called Get Crissor. Grit. Grit.

Kissor. Called Grit. Kissor. It's a little logger and it's delicious and I got it down

in right outside of Muscle Shoals. Have you ever been to Muscle Shoals? Well, it's wonderful.

Really, the town across the river, Florence, is really something to see. University of

Northern Alabama. They have their own castle. I mean, it's a real castle. Union troops

were housed there during the war. It's so pretty. And I'm like, why didn't anybody tell

me I could go here? Why was I only offered Missouri, Illinois or Kansas? Those are my three

choices. And I chose two out of three. I went to two and two. And Muscle Shoals, what's

in Muscle Shoals? Well, the reason I went was for golf, because there's two Robert Jones

courses there that are wonderful. It was like Ireland, except beer in a cotton field.

It was like Link's golf. No houses. Can't speak highly enough of that. And then there's

all this other stuff in Muscle Shoals. Well, they're famous recording studios. You guys

wear, there's two that like in the 60s and 70s. I mean, there's still recording stuff.

But during their heyday, like a wreath of Franklin, that's why it's, well, that's what reminded

me of it, that they're a wreath of show on that geo. But they have a, you can tour the

little studios and there's just a few people at times. So it's no big deal with a mascot.

And Helen Keller's birthplace, I didn't know Helen Keller's family had so much money.

They keep that a secret. Not that that in any way makes being blind to deafening better,

but it definitely gets you more help. Because daddy, that Ekella was a Confederate general.
