As per tradition, Jorge and I recorded our conversations on our way to the Telluride Film Festival in the car and coming home from the festival. In between our conversations about the lineup and the Oscar contenders that emerged from the Labor Day weekend festival, I connected with Josh Parham at the Venice International Film Festival to tell me what his experience has been like and also with Dan Bayer, who told me what he's looking forward to at this year's Toronto International Film Festival.
