Our guest today is an actor, writer, satarist, musician, and of course, songwriter.

He recently released a new album of bitingly satirical songs entitled Can't Take a Hint, it's the brilliant Harry Sheera.

Brian, my friend, if you told me when we began doing this show that we would one day boast a member of Spinal Tap amongst our guests

I would have slapped you across the face and called you a son of a bitch.

It is kind of surreal, not to mention very exciting,

to get to talk to Harry.

I've been a huge fan of his for some 20 odd years ever since

discovering Spinal Tap in my early teens. Like many I became totally obsessed with it.

In fact, Cy I think I lent you my VHS copy while we were at school. I think I remember you going home to get the tape actually that's how sick my mind is.

Well I was a fervent fan so that doesn't surprise me.

And it's you know it's not just a hysterically funny endlessly quotable movie but the music is so good too.

Well I mean it's a spoof isn't it of rock and metal bands that actually takes the time

to bring the characters vividly to life and you've got such an impressively well-crafted set songs for them to do.

Yeah I think I've listened to the soundtrack almost as many times as I've watched the

movie which is a lot believe me. That is a lot. It's incredible really that Harry

is not only an integral part of one of the all-time great comedy movies

but is also a core member of the cast of The Simpsons, one of the most popular and

long-running comedy shows in history. Among many others he provides the voice of Mr Burns, Smithers, Principal Skinner,

Ken Brockman, Reverend Lovejoy, we are talking about a serious comedy heavyweight here.

I didn't even mention Ned Flanders. We are talking about a serious comedy heavyweight here.
