Last time, we arrived at a pivotal moment in the siege of Munster.

The Bishop Prince's army had entered the city via the Holy Cross gate,

effectively bringing the siege to an end. When we left the last episode, the commanders of the

Bishop's forces had effectively lost control of their men who were roaming around the city,

looting, breaking into houses and other buildings, killing Anabaptists and getting very, very angry.

As we mentioned in the last episode, the reason for their anger was that they had been promised

vast amounts of loot and treasure following the fall of Munster, enough to compensate them

for all the months they had spent at the siege without pay. However, to their outrage, there didn't seem to be

anything of value inside Monster at all. Breaking into houses and plundering all the possessions

inside them had yielded nothing more valuable than everyday clothes
