On this episode of Newt's World, on Tuesday, President Joe Biden and Russian President Vladimir Putin will

speak over a video call. The primary topic of their call will be the buildup of Russian

troops on the Ukrainian border. Many of them are viewing this as a sign of Russia's potential

invasion. Well, last known call between the two presidents was in July when Russian-based criminal

hacking groups launched ransomware attacks against the United States. The colonial pipeline hack,

this past May, the result of the days of gas shortages in parts of the United States,

was attributed to the Russians. There are many signs from Putin that they have a plan to defeat

America. My guess today is an expert in understanding Putin and how he operates.

I'm really pleased to welcome my guest, Rebecca Koffler. She is a Russian-born U.S.

intelligence expert who has worked with the Defense Intelligence Agency and the Central Intelligence

Agency's National Clandestine Service. She is the author of Putin's Playbook, Russia's secret plan

to defeat America.
