Des Moines. We talk about U.S. men's soccer. Let's start with the bad news. Weston McKinney, Tyler Adams, and Christian Pulisic will be absent

for the upcoming friendlies against Columbia and Peru.

Hey Greg, how much do we have to discount our excitement level for these games compared to a week

ago when the roster was

announced.

A little, a little, right?

Yeah.

There's a general sense of malaise I think now surrounding this game.

It's really disappointing that sort of our three brightest

shiniest new toys are taken away from us but there are still

you know four or five kind of unopened presence on the roster.

I think it speaks to a couple of things.

One, that Pulisic, McKinney, and Adams have kind of spoiled us in our expectations

for what the kids should be doing.

And two, I think there's a general lack of confidence

in Serrakin and US soccer in general,

that they'll kind of give us the fun kind of lineup that we want to see. I mean it's ridiculous that a

lineup with Weya, Sergeant, Aiman, even Seth, Cannon, Avakush, like that this is

considered a dull roster now yeah because because we don't

believe that those guys are necessarily or very many of them are gonna play right I

mean that's that's kind of what you're saying.
