Hey, everybody. Welcome to you were born for this podcast with Father John Ricardo and Mary

Guilfoyle. We are a couple of missionaries at Acts 29. This is the podcast where we talk about

how acquiring a biblical worldview brings us great hope in the God who created and rescued this

world in order that you and I can be agents of transformation and recreation.

Mary, that's what we're trying to do this week here in the thriving metropolis of Steubenville, Ohio.

We are blessed to be here at Franciscan University, and we were invited here to lead a retreat for the priests and the deacons and the seminarians.

And it's just a joy when we have a chance to pour into these men.

It is indeed.

My sister-in-law still lives down here and her kids.

My brother used to live down here.

He's passed away now.

He went to school here.

Lots of memories, a spectacular place.

The work that Father Dave Pavanka and all those who assist him is really pretty

remarkable. It's an extraordinary place. Yeah, we're begging for people's prayers because

this is an opportunity for the men who are here to get poured into deeply by the power of the

Holy Spirit. We talk often about how if the enemy can knock off a priest, the ripple effect of that is huge.

But boy, if the Holy Spirit can like turn up the gas on the pilot light inside a priest's

heart, then the ripple effect of that is huge too.

It's a win for everybody.

It's a win for them, their brothers and the people, those of us sitting in the pews.
