We're a couple of missionaries at Acts 29.

This is the podcast where we talk about how acquiring a biblical worldview brings us great hope in the God who created and rescued this world.

In order that you and I can be agents of transformation and

recreation. Mary, how are you? I'm doing great, Father John, and I have to tell you, I am loving

this series that we're in. I am too. You know, in fact, we just had a conversation earlier this

morning with Kelly and our team here at Acts 29 and she's walking through a,

I think it's a Bible study with a bunch of her friends and she was trying to share some of

these things with some of the women in the Bible study and they all went, whoa, whoa, wait a minute.

Like, what are you talking about?

And I find that to be just very telling because some of these things that we're talking about

are really familiar to us in the abstract, but I still think lots of us have this image

that the goal is to get out of here and we're kind of abandoning the world.

And we just don't understand what the mission is, which the Lord is entrusted to us.

And once we get a sense of what the mission is, I think especially for the lady, you just

get jacked and you want to get out and you want to go about the work, right?

Yeah, you do.

And I have to, I'll just add to this, that the word recreation, like I'm familiar with

recreation, right? When I see that in print, I go, oh, I love to

recreate. I was my favorite class in school. I studied parks as recreation. Like, I love all that.

But recreation has so much become a part of our language here. And just even last week, Father

John, we were having a beautiful conversation with the priest who was visiting from another diocese.
