We are a couple of missionaries at Acts 29, and this is the podcast where we talk about how

requiring a biblical worldview brings us great hope in the God who created and rescued this world

in order that you and I can be agents of transformation and recreation.

Mary, happy Memorial Day.

Happy Memorial Day to you too, Father John. It's hard to believe we're at the end of May.

Yeah, we're at the end of May. And, you know, a huge shout out to our brothers and sisters in the

military. I think I'm correct in this. I'll be corrected, I'm sure, by somebody if I'm

wrong. Memorial Day is really a solemn day. It's not, it's not Veterans Day. It's not where we,

you know, thank all those who are serving right now or who have served. It's a day to solemnly

remember and pray for those who've lost their lives, right, in defending our country.

So it's a sobering day.

It's a day to get gratitude.

I mean, every time I look at the flag, I think part in part because Steve was a Marine

for a set of years.

And it changed the way I celebrate Memorial Day, how we celebrate Memorial Day,

how we celebrate Veterans Day.

Sure.

Yeah.

And when I look at the flag, I realize that there was a massive price paid for our freedom

in this nation.

And it is a great nation.
