Today you're listening to episode 327 and I'm talking with Kate Grace.

This conversation with Kate is a long overdue.

I actually cannot believe I'm just now interviewing her for this podcast.

So it was quite the treat to have a conversation with her not only about her amazing success this summer on the track,

but just her career in general.

In 2016, Olympian, she actually won the USA Track Trials in the 826 and went on to compete in Rio where she made it to the finals.

And unexpectedly, kind of unexpectedly, I guess we actually get into that in this conversation we talk about that experience in this conversation.

I've been curious about it, so it was really fun to hear how she processed 2016 and what that all meant to her.

Kate also represented the United States in 2017 at the World Championships.

And this summer after the Track Trials, she did not make the Olympic team this year, but she went on to set three personal records in nine days.

She won her first diamond league and her new PR that she has set of 157.2 puts her at the 8 fastest 800 all-time list in the US.

She has set of 7th fastest in the world in 2021.

So we get to hear about these recent successes as well, and we hear about coaching changes.

She's now training with Team Boss and what it's been like to get to learn from several different coaches along her professional career.

Really truly such a great conversation.

She was so open and honest, I really enjoyed getting to know Kate in this episode.
