I don't think there are a lot of people more cynical or jaded about how Congress functions

than I am.

I've been paying attention to it for a long time and, you know, I can't think of a way

that I could have a lower opinion of it, although they do often surprise me and getting

me to have that.

And one of the those examples is, you know, this idea that when you elect a new speaker,

it's not a very common occurrence in American politics, he's only the 56 speaker in American

history.

So it's a pretty significant event when it happens.

And part of the ritual of electing a new speaker is they ascend up to that Tribune and they

kind of give their first address that's designed to communicate to the American people what

their priorities are, what is going to be the focus of my speakership.

And you know, in the United States, you know, all the data about how the grade the pathologies

are that Americans face, the leading cause of death of Americans under 45 is suicide,

American men at least suicide.

And you know, all the fentanyl and all that, the things that Americans need, no healthcare.

And he got up and he said, the first thing I'm going to do, we have this new spot, like

this new platform, the first thing I'm going to do in Americans are like, what are you going

to do for us?

And he said, we're going to pass the bill to help our good friend Israel.

It's long overdue.

And that kind of amazed me that they would be so blatant about the fact that that's their
