Brew Club's average brew beers. For this quarter the style members of the

Brew Club chose to focus on is the deliciously dark style that has its roots in the old world

but took on some modern flare American Porter. Craig I know you've got a soft spot for darker

styles. How are you guys feeling about this one? I'm excited. Ready to get after it. I am jumping at the

chance to drink. That was well rehearsed. I'm pretty sure the first porter I

ever had was Deschoots Black Butte Porter back in like 2001. I don't even think I was 21 yet.

What? We do not condone underage groups. Yeah, either do I guess, but someone brought some over

and raved about it, so I gave it a go.

I absolutely loved it.

And to this day, Blackbute is still on my list

of favorite American Porter.
