Shifflet. How you guys doing? I'm a little tired today a little jet-l, a little sore. And I'm sitting in a London hotel

room recovering from a big cold weekend out at Milton Keynes where we had a couple of great gigs and then I spent my

night playing five-aside over in Chelsea with Buddy Lee and the boys and I actually scored two goals man I don't

want to brag but that was pretty fun so arson if you're listening, call me buddy.

Anyway, moving on.

Today, we're heading up to Ednborough,

we're going to make up our cancelled gig from earlier in the summer at Murray

Field. Looking forward to that. All in all, life is just grand. Okay. On today's episode, I'm talking to co-founder and frontman of the

drive-by truckers, Mr Mr Patterson Hood, who I'd never met prior to this interview,

but I cold emailed him like, I don't know, a year and a half ago,

and asked if I could interview him and he was nice enough to say yes and then it was

just a matter of being in the same place at the same time and linking up our

schedules which finally happened back in April this year when the truckers

acoustic tour came through LA and normally I don't really like talking much

with my guests before an interview, but this time was a little different.
