who I have worked with in the past and I know has fantastic

advice and then later on in the show in addition to taking your questions of course

we'll have Cheryl Kasoni she's the author of the comeback how today's moms reenter the workforce.

I was thinking as I prepped for this show that sometimes people ask me about how I carved my career path and they

always expect to hear that it was some sort of a straight line.

And that in and of itself makes me laugh

because my career was a lot of hops,

a lot of detours, a lot of stops, a lot of starts, a lot of stops a lot of starts a lot of well I don't want to really do this so I'm going to take a step back and I'm going to do something else and as I've interviewed successful women in my life I've found that's the norm.

It's very, very rarely a straight line and just hearing that every so often I think makes people feel a little

better about the fact that they might not be on the path that they want to be on

just at this particular moment.

And in case you're one of them, or in case you're thinking,

gosh, I need a change, or I don't need a change right now,

but I am definitely going to need a change in two or three years.
