As long time listeners will recall, I used to host politics politics politics back in the

80s when it was still just an AM talk radio

But around 87 or so I threw my back out, something fierce, and I got on to some medications, and I kind of spiraled out for a few years, became

a little unhinged, a little bit more fiery than was really warranted in retrospect.

For example, I publicly accused Michael Dukakis of murder.

In fact, this program was briefly called DuCaucus killed D. B. Cooper Talk Radio 580.

Again, I really regret that whole period of my life,

but understandably, given my chronic pain condition,

I turned to medication.

And I became addicted to recreational antibiotics,

which was horrible for multiple reasons. First, I went a little crazy. Second, it turns out that recreational

antibiotics don't really even do anything to help your back, so that was all for nothing.

Third, apparently there's no such thing as recreational antibiotics and finally

fourth, if there were, they probably wouldn't be suppository as I had assumed. So that's all

on me. Anyway, I got fired from hosting this program
