Welcome to episode three of real cool history for kids.

Today I'm going to tell you the story of an amazing and inspiring event.

Have you ever wondered if you are going to do something truly incredible and maybe even wonderful in your lifetime? It's easy to compare

ourselves with others and, well, when we do, we often come up feeling not as good as everyone

else. I know that this can make us feel

sad and insecure. I've done this and I've felt this way. I want you to know something very,

very important deep down in your heart. It doesn't matter what talents and passions that God has given you, they're a gift from

him to you.

When we take those gifts, talents, and passions and use them to bring Him glory, well,

they're our gift back to Him.

And along the way, we get to help others around us.

Do you remember what I told you in our first episode of this podcast show?

I told you that that you are an important part of history.

Because only you can do what God has planned for you to do. You are unique with unique gifts and talents.

I encourage you to find out what those gifts are and to work hard to develop them. They don't have to be big gifts, guys.

They don't have to wow the world. No, indeed.

In fact, sometimes it's the small things in life that make the biggest difference.

If you've ever been having a bad day and someone takes the time to smile at you or hold the

door for you when you're going into a

store or sometimes even allow you to go in front of them in the checkout line.
