Hello everyone and welcome to the Stephen King cast One Man's Musings on the Works of Stephen King.

Hey, so last time I record an episode, I said that I was going to be reviewing Chapelweight.

I'm not not reviewing Chapelweight.

I just haven't had a time to actually sit down and record the subsequent episodes.

But I'm happy to announce that I am here not to talk about Chapel Weight,

but today I'm here to celebrate Stephen King's newest short story collection.

And I just got to say, you know, once upon time when I was a young Stephen King fan, I looked down upon his short story works because I always wish that it was a novel.

But the older I get, I'm just excited any time I can have a Stephen King story in my life.

So Stephen King, every, I looked at it and I think that it's everywhere from between seven to nine years.

So just under that decade mark, with the exception of a duo that he put out in close proximity in the in the 2000s

he he puts out these these short stories he kicked it off with night shift in

1977 and then in 1985 he published skeleton crew in the 90smares and Dreamsscapes, which was the first

Stephen King, new Stephen King collection that I was able to experience, and I'll always be

grateful for that. And the image of the hardcover is possibly my favorite Stephen King image

of all time. Just about a decade later, he published everything's eventual

shortly after that. It was just after sunset. And then in 2015, wow, which is almost a decade,

he published the Bazaar of Bad Dreams, and then here we are. You like it darker. So he continues to churn these out at a regular pace, which is incredible.

And this is not including the one to two books that he publishes a year.

This is not including the novellas that he has published in between these publications,
