All right, folks, welcome back to another episode of the Human Performance Outliers podcast.

0:15.3

I'm your host, Zach Bitter.

0:16.6

And today I have a guest interview for you.

0:21.3

Today's guest is Graham Tuttle, or for those who are familiar with him, may recognize him

0:26.9

as the barefoot sprinter on Instagram.

0:30.0

Graham was in Austin a few weeks ago, visiting some people and doing some clinics, and he swung

0:35.9

by my house to show me a couple moves that he thought

0:38.7

would be useful for me and my pursuits in running. Two specific areas that we focused on were

0:46.3

ankles and hips. And he did a really nice job of describing to me how that actually ties in to knee

0:52.5

health. And the way he described it is that your knee

0:55.5

when running is sort of a passive spot. So if you're engaging that area too much, it's usually

1:02.4

because there's a weakness somewhere else or a tightness or problem somewhere else. So we focused

1:07.0

on some movements and things. We did an Instagram reel if you're interested in a couple of those that we collaborated

1:13.8

on and then we sat down and recorded a podcast and just talked about his approach altogether

1:18.1

as well as the specific things we worked on.

1:20.7

So if you like running, whether it's sprinting, long distance, middle distance, crazy

1:26.2

ultramarathon or you're just into fitness and want to have a healthy, balanced body.

1:31.2

Graham is a great person to check out and follow, so I was really excited to be able to share his story and his stuff with everyone here.

1:39.6

So he'll be the guy we chat with today.

1:42.1
