0:30.0	Little did we know, just a couple weeks later, Andrew and I would both be on a national stage,
0:35.6	me talking about religious freedom, and he talking about his release from prison in Turkey.

0:44.8	imprisoned because of our faith. Andrew does. And I was in awe when I asked him if he would be on
0:51.5	my podcast Fearless and I think he would be on my podcast Fearless, and I think he would be interested to hear what he has to say.
0:57.2	To me personally, this is one of the most powerful episodes of Fearless we have had, and I'm excited for you to be able to listen. I encourage all Christians to listen to what Andrew has to say about his faith while he was in prison in Turkey. Today I'm completely honored to have two special guests with me

1:25.4	pastor, although he says he's not from North Carolina, he's lived all over the
1:29.3	world, but they planted an evangelical church in Turkey and they had been serving there for more than 20 years and one day that all would change on October 7th 2016 when they were arrested and falsely accused of being involved in an attempted coup against
1:46.7	the Turkish government.
1:48.5	And they were obviously charged with false terrorism charges.
1:51.9	Noreen would soon be released, but Andrew continued and endured two years
1:56.7	in prison until he was set free on October 12, 2018.
2:02.1	But we are in Alaska and I've had the joy of getting to know and talking with
2:08.1	Andrew Noreen. We have met in passing before at other events in New York or in Washington but never have had time to sit down with
