I really think that the way to engage with RFK is the way you're doing, actually, and the way I'm trying to do, which is not to insult him and to give credence to what his root concerns are, which is really the concern of the corrupting influence of money.

That's his root concern.

How can I trust this system?

It's so corrupt with money that how can I trust that these vaccines are really best for my children?

And if there was a safety signal, you wouldn't tell me anyway, would you? All right. I'm so glad to be joined once again on Bad Faith podcast by Dr. Veney Prasad,

who is a hematologist, who is also a professor of epidemiology, to talk about the question on everybody's mind.

How wrong exactly or right exactly is RFK Jr. Thank you so much for joining me. It's my pleasure to be here.

All right. So in preparation for this, I listened to several RFK Jr. interviews, including the one that I

conducted along with my co-host, Robbie Suave, on the Hill about two weeks ago now.

And listen to all of the sections in which he talks about his views on vaccines,

not just the COVID vaccine, but also certain childhood vaccines in the issue of whether or not

there is any link between those vaccines and autism.

And I have a series of specific questions about

where he may be right and where he may be wrong. But I first want to start with a piece that you

wrote taking on this issue independently in the free press titled, What RFK Jr. gets right and what

he gets wrong. And I wondered if you just start with kind of like a big gloss on this. So thanks for having me. I am sympathetic to RFK Jr. on many of his sort of broader

structural points about the ways in which the system is rigged against, you know, the average American.

I think he talks really passionately and eloquently about corporate capture revolving door politics

at the FDA.

He talks about ways in which corporate interests get ahead of American interests,

ways in which people are chasing profits in the pharmaceutical industry.

And on many of those topics, including some of his other topics on foreign policy,
