There's going to continue being protests,

civil disobedience, direct action, banner drops.

There's a week of action coming up in later in June.

And organizers and activists are primed to continue doing the work

that we've always been doing and continue that work.

In addition to that, we're about to start a referendum process.

We're actually going to put on the ballot the idea that the people should decide

whether or not Copsity gets built or not.

And so basically we're calling for a ballot initiative.

We're going to collect signatures to get it on the November ballot

and have the people vote.

And our expectation is that they're going to vote down Copsity.

And then further down the line, we think we're putting these folks on notice

that the Atlanta way, the way of doing backroom deals,

which is what these elected officials are used to.

They're used to basically sucking up the corporations and developers.

And in this case, also, the Atlanta Police Foundation,

that's who they're used to being their actual constituency.

And so I think we really do have to bring out a progressive alternatives

and for those who work in that area, particularly in terms of electoral politics,

to give them the fight of their lives.

Because we have to break that chain of some of these folks.
