is what I normally say every week, but not this week because this week is not one man musing on the

works of Stephen King. It is actually two men musing on the works of Stephen King because I was

incredibly fortunate to be able to have an hour-long conversation with the one,

the only, Dustin Thomason, co-creator and co-showrunner of the show of the show of the summer of

2018, Hulu's Castle Rock.

That's right, guys.

Listen, the next hour, we talk about all things Stephen King.

We talk about the inspirations for Castle Rock, the journey to Castle Rock.

And we get into some questions that I have raised on the show that I know a lot of

you fans have raised in regards to Castle Rock.

I'm talking about the polychalmers of it all.

So guys, when it comes to some concrete answers, Dustin was very, very generous in giving us some concrete answers.

The conversation itself, it was just such a joy.

And I just want to say beforehand, Dusty was, like I said, so generous, and I really want to thank him for his time because

this is someone that is co-running, like I said, the show of the summer of 2018, you know,

and to back it up and just kind of to tell the story here. I had reached out to Dusty last year after the

teaser had dropped and I wound up reaching out to him. And he was kind enough to write back

and say, yeah, that would be great. We should do an interview. Let's just wait until, you know, closer until the, you know, the show comes out.

This was back in the fall. And months go by and months go by. And then we start kind of getting some teasers.

And it just got to the point where I started seeing what the show and the product was going to be.

And I thought to myself, oh, you know, this guy is going to be so busy, you know, and he's going to be interviewing the big leagues, right?
