For all my listeners, I'm thankful for all the support throughout the years.

I'm thankful that I had some time to actually sit down and record an episode.

So for those of you who are tuning in for the first time, I'm your host of the Stephen King cast, a Stephen King podcast that's been running for four plus years now. I can't believe it's been that long in which I originally sat down to go through the works of Stephen King, like I said, in the chronological order of publication. Been there, done that. I accomplished that particular mission, and since then I've been able, it's freed me up to tackle a lot of areas regarding Stephen King. So what we're going to be doing today, I'm going to just be filling you in on what's been going on in my life since I last recorded. So for those of you who do get frustrated, please understand that for the first few minutes of this particular episode, I am going to be talking about myself, not much, but I did want to give a spoiler warning for those of you who just want to get to the meat and

1:11.4

potatoes. Warning, it's out there. I'm going to read some listener emails, some iTunes reviews,

1:16.8

but the thrust of this particular episode is going to be around the trailer for Pet Cemetery,

1:25.4

which dropped last month. And my review of Stephen King's call a short story, call it a novella, call it whatever you will,

1:33.5

his latest publication, elevation, which came out on October 30th.

1:39.2

So I'm looking forward to this.

1:41.5

I've been wanting to get my thoughts down for a while.

1:48.4

But like I said, life has been really, really busy. Not bad busy. Good busy.

1:55.5

I, you know, I'm just going to take just a very, very quick moment to just talk about, you know, this time of year.

2:02.6

We're supposed to be thankful. So I'm just thankful for the opportunities that my life has been able to offer me. And I'm just thankful for the opportunities that my life has been able to offer me.

2:09.5

And I'm just thankful for, like I said, everyone that I am speaking to right now. But I'm also thankful for, you know, my real life, the people in it, the people that I work

2:14.2

with and the work that I'm able to do on a daily basis. I really refocused

2:19.1

myself this year in my profession and I feel like it's been paying some dividends. I just,

2:24.9

I feel very, very worthwhile. And I think that it's, it's just been paying off for not just myself,

2:32.0

but others. And I've been challenging myself and I think that it's good every now and then to challenge

2:37.0

yourself and to push yourself and see where you can grow in areas that you can improve.
