Hello everyone and welcome to the Stephen King cast, One Man's Musings on the Works of Stephen King.

Each week I will review one entry in the bibliography of Stephen King and the chronological order of publication.

And this week I am turning my attention not to one of Stephen King's written works,

but an adaptation of not necessarily a particular Stephen King work, but a continuation, a celebration

of many of Stephen King's works and the philosophy of Stephen King himself.

This week we are going to return to his most famous town in a series of episodes that will celebrate and review and analyze

Hulu's latest show, Castle Rock. So I was very excited about this. As you know, if you are a

Stephen King fan and you're listening to this, then you know the excitement about what it means

to be a Stephen King fan in 2018.

In the summer of 2018, we have It.

You know, we are one year out just about from It.

We have Mr. Mercedes to look forward to.

We had 1922 when Gerald came in some other movie that came out last summer.

I can't remember what and maybe it's better that it stays that way. But this summer we have

Castle Rock. That was something I was looking forward to and I am recording this the day after

the first episode aired.

I still have episodes two and three to get through,

but I do want to focus one particular episode on the buildup to Castle Rock

and my thoughts of the pilot episode.
