What a thrill it is to be back after a wonderful Dog Nation cruise, and we'll tell you more about that in a moment. Just an awesome experience. I wish all of you could have had it with us. Thankful that I got a chance to have it. And boy, it seems like every year, five great years of that event just gets better and better each year. and I'm proud to say that once again for 2026, that was no doubt true.

But, of course, after a week of not having live shows, you better believe I am chomping

into a bit to be back talking Georgia football with you.

And I'll begin by saying, I think many of you are aware of this, that generally speaking

for the upcoming season, the fall of 2026, when the season eventually gets here,

I'm about as optimistic about Georgia as I've been really in a few years.

I think on paper, this Georgia team looks like it could be really, really good.

And look, predicting who's going to win the national championship is always a bit of a fool's errand.

So it's almost a little safer to say, could this team be in that conversation and have a chance to do that?

Of course they could.

On paper, it seems like they're checking almost all the boxes that you feel like need to be checked pretty emphatically in most cases of a team that has the look

of a true real championship contender. That is what Georgia could be this year. We're pretty

optimistic about all of that. And yet concurrent to that thought, I have to be honest about this,

is that while generally speaking, I'm overall pretty optimistic about Georgia. There is one prevailing concern

for UGA that won't quite go away from me. And I think that people oftentimes enjoy the

optimism more than the concern. But if I'm going to do this show every day, we've now done it

going on 11 years, if you're going to trust me when I tell you I feel good about something, I've got to be believable in that situation.

And I'm only believable about the good stuff if I'm also honest about the concerns as well.
