I thought we had a pretty fun topic to open yesterday's show.

It's one of those things that just, I think, hits sports fans in a really good way.

You love the idea of, in professional sports, it's the big time rookie.

You know, it's the college sports.

It's more like the five-star recruit.

There are players that arrive at Georgia with a lot of fanfare.

And those guys succeeding,

those guys helping propel Georgia to everything that it wants to do. There's always going to be something about that that's fond. And sometimes for former five star type guys, we see that year one.

Probably see it less now than we maybe used to. It's become a little bit of an old man's

game. And we've talked about this. But you do see this sort of thing happen where every now and then

the recruit is just so good. Every now and then the talent is so overwhelming that from the word go,

this is a player that's very good. Sometimes, though, there's a little bit of seasoning that takes place.

And if you play one of the positions that requires a lot of physical contact with somebody

on the other line of scrimmage, it seems like that's one of those spots where sometimes

a little bit of experience, growing into your body, figuring some of this kind of stuff out.
