So as I look at the college football playoff top 25, which came out last night, I had one takeaway from it that I thought was interesting. And I would say the dish year's release of the rankings, different maybe than some other years, I didn't think it was wildly controversial. I didn't think it was the kind of thing that we would get up in

arms about necessarily, and we're always on guard for something to get up in arms about.

I didn't think this was necessarily one of those things, but there was one thing that I did

notice that would make me say, hmm, that's kind of interesting. And in a moment, I want to talk about this

from the vantage point of Georgia, why something that seems small now could be bigger later on.

But first, speaking of Georgia, dogs come in at number five in the first college football playoff,

top 25 last night.

Ohio State was ranked number one, Indiana 2, Tex A&M 3, Alabama 4, the team to be Georgia.

And then you have Georgia coming in at number 5.

This is essentially mirroring what we've seen from the Associated Press and coaches polls.

A lot of times the college ball playoff rankings will do something crazy, wildly different

just to show their independent thinkers.

Last night, for the most part, they really didn't do that.

So I guess do with that what you will.

But let's pause on Georgia here just for a moment.

We expected them to be about fifth.

That's exactly what they were.
