So, Rafa, why don't you give us just the chief concern, and then we'll go from there.

Okay, so this is a patient presenting with frequent falls.

Frequent falls.

Okay.

So, Alice, when you hear that a patient is presenting with frequent falls,

and that's all we know so far. What starts coming to mind for you? Okay, so many things,

basically. One thing is a taxia. So it could be a reason why someone falls. The other thing is I'm thinking about the autonomic nervous system as well.

So there's some atypical Parkinson's Syndrome that can present with autonomic dysfunctions.

So that could also be something I'm thinking about.

And then Freak and Falls could also be that a person just can't see properly. So maybe, yeah,

visual, I don't know, something in the visual system. So yeah, that's just the first things

come to mind. Fantastic. Excellent. And for those of you have heard me discuss gate before,

Alice is getting at many of the main points here.

And we do the neurologic exam.

It has seven parts, right?

Mental status, cranial nerves, motor sensory reflexes, cerebellum, and gait.

And why do we test gait at the end?

Because gait, as I like to say, is sort of the symphony of all of the other instruments of the nervous system

working together. Because as Alice said, if you can't see very well, then it would be hard to walk
