I am very suspicious of people when they say they have preferences,

because I feel like they often haven't interrogated what is motivating their preferences.

And I have had enough experiences in my life where,

let's say I'm going out with a short-lice kin man,

suddenly after we break up, everywhere I look is short-lice kin man that I'm attracted to.

Then I go out with a man that looks different,

and everywhere I look after we break up, I'm attracted to the man that look like him.

And my experience is having proximity with people in forms who I'm attracted to going forward.

And when people are only dating one kind of person, or specifically not dating people from

their own racial group, it's hard for me to take that as like a neutral,

unless you're living in Sweden and only dating Swedish women, because there's only Swedish women around.

It's hard for me not to see that choices are being made,

and to ask about the politics that are underlying those choices.

Let me jump in real quick, because I think we're all affected.

Even the comment that Jason just said about Chadwick Bolson playing Thurgood Marshall,

retreats back to my thing about black man, light-skinned black man in colorism.

Yes, it's a real thing. But the real thing is the racial,

or dark-skinned black woman from mainstream media,

which I guess I didn't know this until now mimics the erasure of Jewish women from mainstream media.

Whenever they're not playing, I guess Jewish,

whenever they're playing the one of a Jewish media.
