Hello, everyone, and welcome to another episode of the Detroit Lions Breakdown podcast.

I'm Joe Kanya with me as always is Eric Schlitt from pride of Detroit.com.

Eric, the Lions had a week off last Sunday.

This week, they get back in action.

They head down to the great state of Texas and face off against Dallas Cowboys.

I guess we got to, we can get back on track this Sunday. What do you think? It's hard. It's, I mean, I think everybody's out of whack, right? Like, I was just telling you off air. Like, I'm feeling, feel like I'm out of sorts to get that week off. And the team isn't different than you yeah yeah they

um you know they they they don't necessarily always practice on bye weeks but apparently they did this

this year and so um maybe that helped them keep their rhythm, right?

You wouldn't know that they're coming off a by based on their injuries, but, you know,

I think they're getting healthier in some areas, but man, they can't escape this injury bug.

It just is always lingering and just hits another guy or two.

And then you get a couple guys back and then another couple guys are getting hurt.

And it seems like it just feels like it's going to be a problem all year for them.

And that could be that could be an issue.

And as you mentioned that, we probably should dig in because nearly a third of the roster

has some level of injury status.

So for transactions, oddly enough, they did not subtract or add anyone since the byweek.

The roster has been pretty static as far as bringing anybody in from the outside.

Right.

And before the by week, they released Maurice Alexander.

So they are actually at 52.

Remember, we had talked to last time that they were likely saving that spot for Jerry Jacobs.
