Summary

[Spoiler Alert] Master of None: Season 2 is out, and we're just as excited as you are. From the romance between Dev and Francesca, to confronting racist Tinder dates (post-sex), the season takes on a lot. So, we wanted to talk about it! Ahmed is joined by BuzzFeed Senior Culture Writer Bim Adewunmi and ‎Senior Social Media Editor Abid Anwar to dissect one of the most talked-about episodes in the series, "Religion." They dig into why Navid's sudden pork addiction isn't believable, moments that remind them of their own family, and whether Dev knows he's an asshole. And be warned: There are a ton of spoilers for this one episode, and light spoilers for the rest of the season.

Nothing at all, nothing at all.

0:38.7

A disclaimer before we start, I'm going to be joined by two critics, and we're going to really

0:45.6

dig into Master of None and its strengths and weaknesses.

0:48.9

And it might sound like criticism, but it's like also us just trying to analyze what it all

0:54.1

means, because it takes on a lot of issues.

0:57.0

And, you know, it has some successes and it has some things that, you know, don't, it doesn't fully realize.

1:04.0

And that's okay.

1:05.1

And, um, Aziz, we are still cool with you. We'll see when we want to finish now.

1:17.0

Specifically for this episode,

1:20.7

we're going to be talking about season two, episode three.

1:22.8

A lot of people reach out to me over the weekend,

1:24.8

asking me what my opinion was and giving me their opinions before I saw it.

1:27.3

And I talked it over

1:28.2

with a lot of people at the office. So we're going to talk to people from BuzzFeed who you know

1:33.7

well, Bim and Abed, about that episode. And there's a warning. If you haven't seen the episode,

1:38.9

there's going to be heavy spoilers for episode three. And we'll probably talk about other episodes, so there'll be light spoilers,

1:46.0

but we'll try to keep it, like, relatively light. If you haven't seen it yet, and you really

1:49.6

don't like knowing anything about a show, then you should probably wait until you finished

1:53.6

the season. So, I'm joined by Bim Atta One Me, who's, like like a senior culture writer at BuzzFeed.
