I got a book deal that I'm so excited about.

I just signed a double book deal actually with Penguin Random House with their imprint portfolio,

who is the same publisher that produced Girlboss and Seth Godin's

books and Simon Sinek's books. They are an incredible publisher, and I feel so lucky to be working

with them. But I wanted to take this episode actually to talk about that, sort of behind the

scenes of how that all came to be, my own journey with publishing, with self-publishing

specifically. And then at the end of this podcast, I'm going to give you guys some tips. So if you

have ever wanted to write a book and you're thinking about self-publishing your own book,

I'm going to give you some tips and some solid strategies and some advice on how I think

the best way for you to go about that is.

So my journey starts about 10 years ago. I vividly remember standing in my friend's

apartment with my then boyfriend and telling everyone in the room that I was writing a book.

I was so excited to write this book, you guys. It was like my dream of all

dreams. I was like, you know, the girl who watched Carrie Bradshaw on Sex and the City and I had this
