I highly doubt I'm the first person to say this, but as far as literary precedence for

Yaron Go, he makes me think a lot about Dorian Gray, because, well, I've been reading

picture of Dorian Gray. He's another character who seems never to age, hides his soul

behind a curtain for Dorian and behind an eye patch for

Euron, avericiously collects all the fruits and jewels of life despite not caring for any sort

of human dignity, and who seems to somehow destroy the lives and reputation of every person

who comes into contact with them, especially women. A line in Wilde's novel that goes something

like Dorian began to see evil as just another mode with which to pursue his ideal of beauty.
