Our question, or more of a comment, this episode comes from our patron, Sir Eric,

the guilty undertaker, commenting on a recent episode on Circe 4.

Circe offering a bounty for Tyrion reminds me of the adaptation of blood and cheese in the latest

season of House of the Dragon. Like Damon before her, Circe learns that if you offer gold for

heads, people will bring you heads.

And the kind of people who will bring heads for gold aren't going to be too fussy about who the heads belong to.

Which, yeah, I like that theme in common of violence spinning out of control,

kind of once you crack open the door to it and not being able to always monitor what people do with the

unleashing of their permission to kill. As I said in our recent episode for patrons

One thing I think might happen in Sursu's story, the kind of fulfillment of the Golden Crown's, Golden Shroud's prophecy, is that she ends up inadvertently killing one of her children, Tomman, when she inevitably tries to have Marjorie killed. That I think Tomlin might end up caught in the crossfire there, and Cersie end up unknowingly responsible for one of her three children's deaths. So if so, that kind of would be the payoff to Circe, unleashing violence that she can't control, which I think, yeah, I think that lines up very well with what we see of the Targaryens and House of the Dragon. Yeah, absolutely. And there's also a bit where a bounty like this or a blood price or what everyone would call it, it becomes almost a pretext for violence, regardless if it's aimed at the, you know,
